The money
A full year of treatment, in dollars
Monthly prices hide a lot. This is 12 months of semaglutide at each program's published starting price, with any required membership included.
Estimates use each program's published prices in October 2026 and assume they don't change. MEDVi: $179 first month, then $299/mo. Hers: $149/mo medication plus a membership of $39 in the first month, then $149/mo. TotalRx's annual plan is paid up front.

Straight answers
The things people worry about
"Will I be charged if I'm turned down?"
With TotalRx you pay when you sign up, and if the clinician decides treatment isn't suitable you are refunded in full. You are never left paying for medication you can't have.
"Is a year too long to commit?"
You don't have to. The 3-month and monthly plans carry the same lifetime price lock, so you can start small and still never see an increase.
"Is compounded medication okay?"
Compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved. They are prescribed by licensed clinicians and made by state-licensed US pharmacies, which is why they cost a fraction of brand-name pens.
"What if I want to stop?"
You can cancel TotalRx whenever you like. Give 72 hours' notice before your billing date, and unshipped months on longer plans are refundable pro rata.

About TotalRx
What is TotalRx?
An online weight loss program that pairs you with a licensed clinician and delivers GLP-1 medication, semaglutide or tirzepatide, to your home.
Is TotalRx a real company?
Yes. TotalRx is a brand of Coravita Health, LLC, based in the United States.
Is TotalRx legitimate or a scam?
It is legitimate. A licensed clinician must approve every prescription, a licensed US pharmacy fills it, and you are refunded if you are not approved.
Why did TotalRx get your top rating?
It scored highest on price and value, our most heavily weighted factor, and close to the top on the other three. The lifetime price lock is what separates it from the rest.
Are there TotalRx customer reviews?
TotalRx publishes member stories on its own website. Our 9.8 rating is our independent editorial score, based on its pricing, care, speed and patient experience.
Cost and payment
How much is TotalRx per month?
From $129 for semaglutide and $174 for tirzepatide on the annual plan. Paying month to month is $199 or $249.
Is there anything extra to pay?
No. The plan price covers the clinician, the medication, shipping and follow-ups. There is no membership fee.
Will my TotalRx price go up?
No. Whatever rate you start at is held for as long as you remain a member.
Do I need a TotalRx coupon code?
No. The lifetime-lock pricing is applied when you go through our link, with nothing to enter at checkout.
Does TotalRx accept insurance?
It is a cash-pay program, so you do not need insurance and there is no prior authorization.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. TotalRx accepts HSA and FSA cards and can provide a Letter of Medical Necessity once you are prescribed. Your plan administrator has the final say on claims.
Medication and safety
Is TotalRx safe?
Treatment is supervised by a licensed clinician who starts you on a low dose and raises it gradually. Tell them about your full medical history, and read the safety information before you begin.
What are the side effects?
Mostly digestive: nausea, constipation or diarrhea, usually while the dose is increasing. Your care team can slow the schedule or adjust the dose.
Is TotalRx semaglutide the same as Ozempic?
It has the same active ingredient. It is a compounded version rather than the brand-name pen, and compounded medications are not FDA-approved.
Is TotalRx tirzepatide the same as Zepbound or Mounjaro?
Same active ingredient, in compounded form. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.
How much weight will I lose?
Results vary from person to person. In trials of the brand-name medications, adults lost around 15% of body weight on semaglutide and around 20% on tirzepatide over roughly 16 to 17 months, alongside diet and exercise.
Who can sign up?
Adults who qualify clinically, usually a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 and above with a weight-related health condition. The online assessment gives you an answer quickly.
Delivery, account and cancelling
How fast is TotalRx delivery?
Clinician review usually takes up to 24 hours, then medication typically arrives in 3 to 5 days. Delivery is free.
How do I contact TotalRx?
Members message the care team in the patient portal. For anything else, use the contact page on totalrx.com.
How do I cancel my TotalRx subscription?
From your account or through support, whenever you like. Do it 72 hours or more before your billing date so the next payment is not taken.
Does TotalRx give refunds?
Yes, in full if you are not approved. If you stop a multi-month plan early, the months that have not shipped are refundable pro rata. Medication already sent cannot be returned.
